A LEADING animal centre in Dumbarton is looking for homes for five male quails.
The Scottish SPCA says its local centre, on the A82 at Milton, announced they are seeking five separate homes - ideally with female quails - in Dumbarton and the Vale for their feathered residents.
Centre assistant manager Ally Bibby said, “We are currently trying to find forever homes for five male quails.
“Cayenne and his four friends are looking to be rehomed separately as fighting amongst male quails is very common.
“Ideally they would join existing female quails at their new home.
“They would like a spacious set up and an owner that has knowledge of these animals.
“We are desperate to find five loving homes for Cayenne and his four friends.”
People can find out more about the quails at the Scottish SPCA Dunbartonshire and West Scotland Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre, or apply to rehome them at bit.ly/3HsOsiZ
