TWO men who broke into a house in Dumbarton during the early hours of Wednesday morning have sparked a police appeal.

Between 12am and 4.05am on Wednesday (June 22), two men broke into a property on the town's Mary Fisher Crescent, however it is yet to be established what exactly has been stolen.

Officers in West Dunbartonshire are now appealing for information following the theft.

Detective Constable Catriona MacQueen, of Clydebank CID, said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed two men acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the incident to get in touch.

“I would also urge anyone who was in the area with dash cam or private CCTV footage to contact police.”
