There were plenty of smiles and sales in the sun at Hermitage Park as crafters set up their stalls for the day.

Helensburgh and Lomond Artisans Association hosted its first craft fair in the park as part of the Helensburgh Winter Festival’s Summer Festival.

An array of items were on offer at the event, including paintings, cushions, jewellery and other accessories.

Soaps, bath bombs, and wax melts were also available from local vendors.

A spokesperson for the group said: “Helensburgh and Lomond Artisans Association’s first craft fair in the park was a great success.

“There was a constant flow of visitors at the craft fair, some familiar faces from our regular venue at Helensburgh Parish Church halls and some new faces.

“The sunny weather was a big help and also having the Park Pavilion Cafe next door.

“All our crafters made some sales and we are hoping as word spreads about our latest venue we will have more visitors in the future.”

The group have more Hermitage Park craft fairs lined up, with the next event due to be held on Saturday July 16 from 11am-2pm.

Fairs will also take place between 11am and 2pm on Wednesday July 27, Saturday October 8, and Saturday December 10.
