A DRIVER has been reported after allegedly being caught caught by police driving without insurance or a licence near Dumbarton.
Officers from the Dumbarton road policing division say they stopped the vehicle in Jamestown after noticing that one of its brake lights was out.
According to police, officers then found the driver had no insurance or a licence.
The car was seized and the motorist is now the subject of a report to the procurator fiscal.

In a separate incident in Dumbarton police say they stopped a second motorist who was allegedly uninsured while driving.
Cops have issued a reminder to motorists to ensure that their insurance is in order before setting off.
Those found without it could face six penalty points, a £300 fine, and having their vehicle seized.

Meanwhile, in Balloch, officers from Dumbarton's road policing unit stopped an overweight van amid concern over its safety.
Police say they pulled the van over after it was clearly observed "struggling with basic maneuvers".
According to police, the van was found to be 33 per cent overweight.
