AN appeal has been launched for a missing deaf man from Dumbarton last seen leaving his work this morning.

Kevin Haire is around 5 ft. 6 inches in height, with a medium build and balding. When last seen, he was wearing a dark coloured hooded top, blue t-shirt, dark coloured trousers and black trainers. He was also carrying a black rucksack.

The 43-year-old is deaf and can sometimes have difficulty communicating.

Kevin was last seen around 11am this morning (August 1) leaving Dumbarton Football Club’s stadium where he works. When he failed to return home as normal, his family contacted police to report his missing.

His family is extremely worried and just want to know he is safe and well.

Officers are checking CCTV images for any additional information about Kevin and it’s possible he may have travelled to Glasgow.

Inspector Alan Heron said: “Our concern for Kevin is growing, it is out of character for him to not be in touch with his family. They are understandably upset and I am appealing to anyone who may have seen Kevin or who has any information or knowledge as to his whereabouts to contact us.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 2398 of August 1, 2022.
