A 34-year-old man was arrested for allegedly assaulting a police officer.
At 6.50pm on July 25 in Dumbarton’s Bontine Avenue, he reportedly pushed, punched and spat at officers, and tried to bite one.

He was also charged with resisting arrest and shouting at officers, aggravated by sectarian, homophobic and disablist language.
The man was held to appear at court.
