Drumry residents joined the authority’s new convenor of housing and communities on a walkabout around the area to discuss their hopes for improving the community.
Labour councillor for Clydebank Central Ward and convenor of housing and communities, Craig Edward, said: “It is important to me as the ward councillor and housing convenor to bring together council managers and tenant representatives to walk street-by-street around our communities and see the issues for ourselves.”
The walkabout included Onslow Road, York Street, Alsatian Avenue, Vanguard Street, Bedford Avenue and Montrose Street.
Cllr Edward added: “We identified many issues including grass and hedge cutting, back court garden improvements, external building improvements, fly tipping, bin storage areas, anti-social behaviour, opportunities to improve our housing stock and the Bedford Gardens growing space.”
