A DUMBARTON girl performed her favourite singer’s song at a summer camp - and may have earned herself the trip of a lifetime.

Rosie Mae Tiffoney sang social media star Jax’s new hit song Victoria Secret at Louise and Des McFarlane’s Singer Station School of Music earlier this month.

However, the Aitkenbar pupil’s video went viral after she posted it onto her Instagram page.

Seven-year-old Rosie told the Reporter: “I was busy watching YouTube and came across this video of a song, so I clicked onto it and I liked it.

“I liked it because it was the words that made so much sense to me. I knew I wanted to sing that song at the camp. At the time I was so nervous because there were a lot of people.”

Since then Jax has shared the clip of Rosie performing her song on TikTok commenting “HOLY CUTENESS! Go rockstar GO!!!”and the video has gained almost 10 million views.

Now Jax is hoping to fly Rosie out to Hollywood to - in Rosie’s words - eat candy, make Tiktok videos and walk the path of fame’.

Proud mum Kimberley Bullion, 31, said that her daughter has been living on cloud nine ever since.

She told the Reporter: “Jax is a good role model. At her summer camp no one knew the song. She performed it to others who also loved the song, before posting it on her Instagram and it has gone from there.

“We have spoken to Jax now quite a few times. She said to Rosie she wants to invite her to Hollywood and she has been living on cloud nine since.

“I can’t put into words how proud of her I am. I honestly wish I had that confidence when I was younger. To see Rosie singing that song has made me speechless.”

New York singer Jax wrote the song with the aim of promoting body positivity for a young teenager that she babysits.

But now aspiring singer Rosie has one clear message for young girls across the country.

She said: “I feel it is very important to say that you should love yourself no matter what. Don’t worry about what other people have to say. Just be yourself.”
