Cameron House has unveiled five festive things to do at the Loch Lomond hotel this Christmas.

Cameron House and Lodges has just announced it has completed its new extension with over 60 new rooms added to the luxury destination.

Known as The Lomond Wing, 68 new bedrooms, a spectacular 700m2 ballroom and loch-facing terraces, make the five-star resort ideal for a winter escape.

And, just in time for Christmas, the stunning setting in Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park is offering visitors a variety of festive experiences this winter.

Here, we take a look at five festive activities and entertainment at this special time of year.

Shopping

The resort’s festive season of events commences with a magical Christmas Market on  November 26 and 27 which will take place in the new, state-of-the-art ballroom.

The ballroom will be transformed into a winter wonderland, bedecked with swathes of twinkling lights, the tantalizing smell of mulled wine drifting through the air, as guests browse for gifts from an array of artisan pop-up shops.

Entry is free.

Experiences

For guests looking to celebrate with an evening of pure pop nostalgia, Cameron House will be hosting an Abba Tribute Christmas Party Night on Friday, December 16.

A black-tie event in the Loch Lomond suite, where guests will be greeted with cocktails and canapes on arrival, followed by a delectable three-course meal cooked by the resort’s supreme chef duo: Michelin-starred Martin Wishart and the widely celebrated chef Paul Tamburrini. Singing and dancing until late.

To experience something different, New Year’s Highland Games and a programme of special Christmas golf activities will also be taking place, all in Cameron House’s grounds.

Santa Claus

For younger guests, a Breakfast with Santa experience will be available, where children can enjoy a special morning with Santa Claus, and delight in a range of tasty treats from the breakfast buffet.

For all the family, A Christmas Family Lunch will be held on December 18, where everyone can come together and enjoy a memorable occasion, dining on festive foods.

Relaxation

Amidst a rich programme of thrilling activities and indulgent dining experiences, guests can also indulge in relaxation at the idyllic Cameron Spa.

Visitors will be transported to a blissfully calm oasis, home to restorative facilities such as the ice fountain, hydrotherapy pool, aromatherapy room, and VIP couples room with its own private mineral bath, and the iconic rooftop infinity pool with unrivalled views.
