With Christmas fast approaching and St Nicholas working as hard as ever to ensure he meets his deadlines, the big man is still able to spare a bit of time to come and visit the children of West Dunbartonshire.

Every year, children visit Santa's grotto to tell him what they want for Christmas and this year is no exception with several locations hosting Mr Clause.

From Old Kilpatrick to Braehead, you'll have plenty of opportunities this December to visit Father Christmas.

OKFP Santa's Grotto, Old Kilpatrick

Food support charity, Old Kilpatrick Food Parcels is hosting Santa Clause at their charity hub.

The event is open to all children under the age of 10 and those visiting Santa will be able to chat with him, take a photo with him, and will receive a wee present.

When: The grotto is open from December 1 to December 19

Cost: The event is free but donations are welcomed

Breakfast with Santa, Old Kilpatrick

The Glen Lusset Bar is hosting a morning meet and greet with Santa, including breakfast and unlimited tea and coffee.

When: The meeting will take place on December 10.

Cost: £11.50 for children (including breakfast) and £5 per adult (including tea and coffee).

Santa Paws, Braehead

Ever wanted to let your furry friend enjoy the magic of Christmas? Well, now you can with the opening of Santa Paw's Grotto.

Here, your dog will be able to meet Santa at the Dobbies' store in nearby Braehead where they will be given a treat as an early Xmas present.

You can even take your children along so they can meet Santa along with your pup.

There is also a special photo option to make this a memory to remember forever.

Santa will be coming to Braehead to hand out gifts, and pose for photo opportunities with parents and guardians able to join for free!
