Staff at Cameron House are taking on pulling together in a bid to row 50,000 metres to raise funds for charity.

The hotel workers are taking part in Doddie Aid, a challenge which sees people across Scotland and beyond rack up miles in aid of the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.

The charity was set up by rugby legend Doddie Weir and invests in critical research to help find a cure for motor neurone disease (MND).

Weir was diagnosed with MND in 2016, and passed away at the age of 52 in November 2022.

The team at Cameron House, including resort director Andy Roger, will be completing the challenge at the hotel’s gym.

Doddie Aid sees six regional teams compete against each other over the course of six weeks, with the hotel’s staff taking part for Team Glasgow.

Gregor Brown and Rory Darge from Glasgow Warriors recently appeared at the resort’s leisure club in support of the event, along with Scotland flanker Ryan Wilson.

Cameron House is encouraging participants from near and far to join the challenge.
