A Dumbarton support group for people with multiple sclerosis had a “wonderful” time celebrating the coronation with an afternoon tea and raffle.
The Dumbarton and District MS group visited the Rosslea Hall Hotel in Rhu for their festivities on Saturday, May 6.
The day was enjoyed by all and helped raise funds for the group – with the raffle and tea making £134.
Group coordinator Sheena Rollo said: “Dumbarton and District MS group had a wonderful time celebrating the Royal Coronation at the Rosslea Hall Hotel in Rhu.
“The group enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea and had a small raffle with prizes.
“The room was decorated with an abundance of right royal decorations and a great royal time was had by all.”
The Rosslea Hall Hotel contributed to the raffle by donating a free afternoon tea voucher which the group were grateful for.
Guests had a great time as they enjoyed the food and drinks on offer and thanked the hardworking volunteers for their time.
Louise and Douglas Smart said: “We have had a really fun afternoon - our afternoon tea was lovely.
“We would like to say a special thanks to our volunteers.”
The group holds regular drop-in sessions at the Helensburgh and Lomond Civic Centre as well as a programme of events throughout the year, many of them held at the Rosslea.
