LOCH Lomond Rescue Boat (LLRB) is gearing up for the summer after a busy start to the season with seven callouts in just over a month.

Crews have responded to incidents of various natures ranging from people suffering medical emergencies, capsized kayaks/dinghies, and boats with mechanical issues since April 1.

Dumbarton and Vale of Leven Reporter:

At the end of May, the team will be heading to Balloch as part of its temporary summer relocation.

The charity said it is currently in the process of making this summer relocation permanent.

Those looking to visit the Balloch/Loch Lomond area over the coming months are being urged to do so carefully.

Members of LLRB are reminding people to be safe when in and around water and to dial 999 and ask for police then Loch Lomond Rescue Boat if in need of assistance.
