A SEARCH has been launched for a missing Alexandria man who is known to visit the West End of Glasgow.
Police have urged Gary Smith, from the Braehead area, to get in touch with friends or family as concerns grow for his well-being.
The 54-year-old is known to frequent Partick and the surrounding area of Glasgow's West End and cops have appealed for the public's help in locating him.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “As time continues to pass we are becoming increasingly more concerned for the safety of Gary Smith.
"He was last seen in Braehead, Alexandria, but is known to frequent Partick and the West End area of Glasgow.
"We urge Gary to make contact with us or his family or friends, and if anyone has information which may assist us to make sure he is safe and well please phone 101 quoting incident 0215 dated June 17, 2023."
