A HEADTEACHER who has dedicated nearly four decades to working in a primary school has retired.
Mary Begg, headteacher of Lennox Primary in Bonhill, has retired after 38 years of service.
In an announcement on social media, West Dunbartonshire Council said: "Pupils and staff said a heartfelt thanks and goodbye to their much loved head teacher, Mrs Mary Begg.
"Mrs Begg retired from Lennox Primary after a career spanning 38 years. Good luck in your retirement."
