Glasgow Airport is one of the largest airports in the country and is used by Glaswegians and those across Scotland for going abroad.
However, many can get caught out when being faced with fines and charges for using facilities such as parking.
This is why we have decided to answer some of the most commonly asked questions about the airport regarding parking, drop-off fees and transport.

Glasgow Airport has two Pick-up and Drop-off zones with one being for those looking for a quick option (Express) and the other being for those staying longer (Long Stay).
Express Pick-Up and Drop-Off areas are located outside the main terminal building in the car park.
Users will see charges of £5 for stays of up to 15 minutes with those staying longer advised to use the Short Stay car park.
Those with electric vehicles can access the Express Drop-off and Pick-up zones for free for the first 15 minutes (EV drivers will have to register for this).
Those staying for more than 15 minutes will have to pay a premium charge upon exiting.
The Long Stay Pick-up and Drop-off zones are further away from the main terminal with drivers able to park there for free for the first 30 minutes.

Parking exists at Glasgow Airport for those going on short and long-haul trips.
Long Stay Parking is further away from the airport and requires those who have not pre-booked to pay a minimum of £50 for a three-day stay.
The full prices can be found on the Glasgow Airport website where users can book their car's stay.
Drivers can also use the Short-stay car park next to the main terminal which costs more and is used for short trips.
