A SHUTTLE bus service will operate in Old Kilpatrick whilst roadworks are carried out, it has been confirmed.
The service, which is available free of charge, is being run by Avondale Coaches on behalf of West Dunbartonshire Council.
It will provide links to diverted FirstBus Glasgow services [1A/B].
These services are currently being diverted via Mountblow Road and the A82 [Great Western Road].
Shuttle bus timetable
The shuttle buses will run from Monday to Friday with services starting around 8am and finishing around 4.30pm.
It comes as we previously reported that local residents were outraged after ‘being left with no buses’ running through the village due to roadworks that have closed a large part of Dumbarton Road.
The closure began on July 3 and will be in place for three weeks between the hours of 7am and 5pm each day.
