SWEET-TOOTHED pups are in for a treat on Friday as a new doggy ice cream van heads to Loch Lomond Shores.

Retailer Pets At Home are behind the dog-friendly frozen yoghurt scheme with the van touring the UK over the summer - with Loch Lomond's popular shopping, leisure and walking destination next on its list.

Dog owners will be able to pick up a free ice cream for their furry friends as well as take advantage of a water station, available to help keep pets hydrated after a fun walk around the local beach or woodland areas.

There will also be experts from Pets at Home on hand to help owners find out more about keeping their pets safe and cool in the summer and answer any questions.

The van will be at Loch Lomond Shores between 11am and 4pm today (Friday, July 28) and will be free until stocks last.
