A MAN has been arrested following a "disturbance" at a bridge in Bonhill.
Police were called to Tullichewan Drive following reports of an incident shortly after 6pm yesterday (August 9).
Officers stopped a vehicle on Bonhill Bridge a short time later as part of enquiries.
A 44-year-old - who is believed not to be the driver of the vehicle - was arrested and charged in connection with the incident at a different location.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.05pm on Wednesday, August 9, police were called to the Tullichewan Drive area of Alexandria, following a report of a disturbance.
"Officers stopped a vehicle on Bonhill Bridge a short time later as part of enquiries.
“A 44-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident at a separate location and will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”
