EMERGENCY roadworks on a busy road near Dumbarton are now expected to last almost two weeks.
Traffic Scotland informed drivers on social media to expect delays on the A82 southbound in Milton yesterday afternoon (August 24).
They have now posted on their website that the delays -which have resulted in one lane closure - are expected to last until September 6.
SP Energy works have since confirmed that the works are now expected to last 10 working days for carry out an urgent replacement of a hazardous underground cable.
A spokesperson from the company said on social media: "Sorry for any inconvenience but traffic management is essential to create safe working conditions."
