A chain of themed restaurants with its largest site in Balloch has been put up for sale for £1.3million. 

Dinosaur-themed Jurassic Grill opened on the shores of Loch Lomond just eleven months ago but now - along with three other branches in England - the venue has gone on the market after a change in personal circumstances for the owners. 

They have instructed Blacks Business Brokers to market the business.

Founded in 2019 by Jozef Mordawska and Natalie Matts, Jurassic Grill has since expanded to Kettering, Northamptonshire and Whiteley near Fareham. 

All four restaurants are known for their lavish prehistoric-style decoration and dinosaur-themed menus, while the Loch Lomond venue also includes the UK’s first Ice Age-themed cocktail and dessert bar.

Situated within the Loch Lomond Shores Shopping Centre in Balloch, the restaurant seats a total of 150 customers indoors and 84 outdoors.

The four premises incur a combined annual rent of £360,000 and employ 67 staff plus a further nine managers.

In its most recent financial year, Jurassic Alive Ltd posted a turnover of £1.59 million, achieving a gross profit of £1.05 million.

The projected turnover for the financial year ending 30 November 2023 is £3.2 million.

A new owner could explore the possibility of expanding Jurassic Grill on a wider national and even global scale.
