A WOMAN has been caught with drugs during a search at Greenock Prison, it is alleged.
Wendy Kerr, 50, is said to have had amphetamine on her person whilst attending at the jail to visit someone.
Kerr is said to have committed the alleged offence on June 12.
The charge against her alleges that she 'did attempt to bring or otherwise introduce to the prison amphetamine in that she had a quantity on her person when searched'.
Kerr, of Dunoon, has had the case continued without plea through lawyer Edel McGinty at Greenock Sheriff Court until December 1.
