A FERRET who spent over 500 days at a local animal shelter has had his Christmas wish come true.
Last week we told of how Scoot, a "playful and happy" ferret, was hoping to find his forever home this winter after spending 504 days at the Scottish SPCA’s Dunbartonshire centre.
In an update, the animal welfare charity confirmed that Scoot had spent his final night in their care as he had been adopted.
He will now spend his first Christmas at his forever home with owner Denise.
