A BUSY road in Dumbarton is set to close for five days.
Local residents were notified of the closure by letter earlier this week.
It states that a full road closure will be in place on Station Road between Church Street and Meadowbank Street from December 11 to December 15.
This is to facilitate the renewal of the road surface and to install new white linings on the road.
During this period, there will be no vehicle access between 7am and 5.30pm. The closure will also prevent access to the Municipal Building and College Street.
The letter added that exceptions will be made for emergency service vehicles.
Pedestrian access along Station Road will be maintained throughout the works.
