Dunbartonshire Chamber of Commerce hosts Christmas lunch

The chamber, an organisation which promotes, represents, and supports businesses across the region hosted its annual Christmas lunch at the Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel in Clydebank on Friday.

Around 100 people attended the event and were treated to insights from guest speakers including Louise Harkiss and Derek Mair who spoke about how to have a successful mindset going into 2024.

A raffle held on the day raised £1,250 for Erskine Veterans Charity. This was organised as part of the chamber’s Armed Forces Programme, ChamberFORCE.

The event was compered by Denis Flanagan, commercial and logistics director at the venue, and was rounded up by a vote of thanks from Damon Scott, chief executive of the chamber.

Mr Scott said: “The lunch was another fantastic chamber event that brought our wonderful business community together to celebrate at the end of the year.

“We are incredibly grateful for all the support we received to make the event such a success including headline sponsorship from Clydebank-based, facilities management company, Sectorserve Group as well as from Adsmart from Sky and the Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel.

“As a not-for-profit organisation sponsorship of this kind is really important to help support our ongoing activities to make a positive impact on our local economy and communities.”

“We also had some amazing raffle prizes thanks to the generosity of our fantastic network and were delighted to raise £1250 in support of Erskine Veterans Charity.”
