A MAN was injured after he was attacked outside of a nightclub in Balloch.

Police said the 27-year-old had been outside of the venue on Balloch Road when he was assaulted at around 3.30am on Saturday.

He sustained an injury during the incident and was taken to the Vale of Leven District Hospital in Alexandria for treatment.

Officers are urging anyone who may have witnessed the attack or captured anything on dash-cam or CCTV to come forward.

Detective Constable Iain Allison, of Clydebank CID said: “The victim has been left injured by this incident and we are appealing for information to be able to establish exactly what happened.

“The area would have been relatively busy with traffic and people leaving nearby premises at the time.

"If anyone has witnessed the incident or captured anything on dash-cam footage or CCTV, please contact police.”
