A BUSY road in Dumbarton could set to close for up to five days next week.
Greenhead Road will be shut from Tuesday, May 21 to allow BT to complete manhole repairs.
West Dunbartonshire Council announced the closure on their website.
However, they do note that it is anticipated that the disruption will only be in place until 5pm on Wednesday, May 22.
There will be half road closure on Greenhead Road for traffic turning in from the A82 (Stirling Road) North Bound and South Bound, for a distance of 40 metres or thereby.
Only emergency vehicles, those permitted by signs and those engaged in authorised road works will be allowed entry.
All restrictions may only be applied in part, as and when signed/required, and will be kept to a minimum.
Access to all property and for pedestrians will be maintained.
