A ROAD in Dumbarton is set to close for up to five days next week.
High Street will be shut from Wednesday, June 19 between 8pm and 6am to allow for a refresh of road markings.
West Dunbartonshire Council announced the closure on their website.
The disruption will be in place from the Southern extended kerb line with Riverside Lane in an easterly direction to the junction with Castle Street, for a distance of 350 metres or thereby.
However, it is anticipated the closure will only be in place until 5pm on Friday, June 21.
Only emergency vehicles, those permitted by signs and those engaged in authorised road works will be allowed entry.
All restrictions may only be applied in part, as and when signed/required, and will be kept to a minimum.
Access to all property and for pedestrians will be maintained.
