The westbound lane of High Street in Dumbarton is to close next week.
The road will be shut from Thursday, June 27 for up to five days in order for CCTV surveys to take place.
West Dunbartonshire Council announced the closure on their website.
The disruption will occur from its junction with Church Street covering a distance of 100 metres.
Only emergency vehicles, those permitted by signs and those engaged in authorised road works will be allowed entry.
All restrictions may only be applied in part, as and when signed/required, and will be kept to a minimum.
Access to all property and for pedestrians will be maintained.
