A Haldane park is set to create a new gym as its former premises are set to go up for sale.
Inler Park Trust in Haldane has been granted money from West Dunbartonshire Council to move their gym to a new building.
The Cost of Living Capital Fund Award has given the trust £38,000 to move their gym from the 'Smiddy' building they had been leasing to a new location.
A new modular building is set to be built next to the Mill Cabin which has been run by the trust since December 2013.
The council says the park group have done an 'extremely successful' running of the cabin and that this new gym will reduce costs for the trust and give the council an opportunity to sell the former 'Smiddy' building.
The new gym building is set to have low-cost heating and lighting amongst the additional savings that the trust believes will let them rent out the space for less to allow community groups to access the hall for minimum fees bringing people together to socialise, learn, and access key services, stay warm, have access to childcare and stay fit.

The new gym is said to provide subsidised classes, in a more efficient centre which would have benefits for the wider community in the midst of a cost-of-living crisis.
Councillor Michelle McGinty, chair of the council's Cost of Living Fund Working Group, said: “I’m absolutely delighted to support the Inler Trust's bid to create a new energy-efficient gym accessible to the local community.
"I am aware that the opportunity to increase communities' accessing sport and gym facilities makes a massive difference to their health and wellbeing.
"It is important that the cost-of-living working group be able to provide funding that can make a long-term difference to communities that are being hard hit during this crisis.”
Councillor Clare Steel said: “It’s a really satisfying part of my role on the working group to be able to help out hard-working community groups like the Inler Trust in Haldane.
“I want to thank the Trust for putting together their application for a fantastic facility for local people.
“Many families are still experiencing the impact of the cost of living crisis and having a new gym facility on their doorstep will be a huge benefit to them in their time of need.”
