A MAN has been arrested in connection with a crash that closed a busy main road in Dumbarton.
As previously reported, part of Stirling Road northbound in the town between Strowan's Road and Dunbritton Road were shut for over three hours on Wednesday, September 18.
Police officers were called to the two-vehicle crash at around 2.25pm where a 47-year-old man was arrested in connection with a road traffic offence.
Officers have confirmed that enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.25pm on Wednesday, September 18, we were called to a report of a two-vehicle crash on Stirling Road, Dumbarton.
“Officers attended and a 47-year-old man was arrested in connection with a road traffic offence. Enquiries are ongoing.”
