Extra security has been added to a housing development as the council says they are 'extremely disappointed' over incidents.
West Dunbartonshire Council have said they are aware of a series of vandalism and trespassing incidents at the Pappert housing site in Bonhill.
The local authority is 'concerned' by people who are 'putting themselves and others in danger' by forcing access to the development and causing damage to equipment and plots which are under construction.
Posting on social media, trespassers are warned that entering a construction site without authorisation is 'completely dangerous'.
Security systems have been increased on the site and the Council’s Anti-social Behaviour Team is undertaking increased patrols in the area.
Police Scotland are said to be working with the security company which is overseeing the site to identify those responsible.
Anyone with information on any of the incidents should contact Police Scotland on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Incidents of anti-social behaviour can be reported to the Council’s Anti-social Behaviour Team on 01389 772048 between 8.30am and 2am Monday to Friday, or between 3pm and 2am on Saturday and Sunday.
