Fans of the beloved BBC Scotland comedy, Two Doors Down, were delighted this morning with the announcement that the show is making a shocking return.
The popular sitcom, which was axed in 2023 following the death of co-creator Simon Carlyle, is set to hit the stage in 2026 with a series of live shows.
After Simon's death, Gregor Sharp, the show's co-writer, declared that he couldn't continue the programme without him.

However, rumours previously emerged that he had a "change of heart."
The Scottish comedy ran for seven series, with the final season airing in November 2023.
It first appeared as a Hogmanay pilot in 2013, before being turned into a successful series.
We revealed that the legendary series will make a shock return with five shows lined up at one of Glasgow's best venues.

What will Two Doors Down's live shows be about?
The live performance will revolve around a "big announcement" from Ian, which has the group speculating.
As usual, Christine has a new obsession, Alan and Michelle are preparing for a big night out, and Colin and Cathy are anticipating a party.
However, Ian and Gordon's news surprises everyone, particularly after Eric and Beth's unexpected announcement.

Where can I see Two Doors Down Live?
The series of five shows is set to be held in Glasgow's Hydro.
The live production will be one of many successful shows hosted by the venue, including the Glasgow comedy Still Game in 2019 and Mrs Brown's Boys in 2023.
Still Game's final goodbye achieved a three-star review from the Glasgow Times, with our reporter describing it as a "complete fantasy" filled with "crude humour and classic Scottish put-downs."
Show creator Gregor Sharp expressed his excitement for the live shows, saying: "It’s always a treat to go to The Hydro to see a show, so it’s a dream come true to be bringing Two Doors Down Live to such an amazing venue with the full cast from the TV series.
"They are an incredible group of performers, and we can’t wait to welcome the audience into Beth and Eric’s, where we can guarantee there will be some surprises as well as the odd person behaving entirely true to form."
