Orla is a lively cat with a noticeable personality.

She is looking for an owner who has the ability to comprehend cat body language.

Orla is noted for her independence but counts companionship on her list of preferences too, enjoying attention when it suits her.

She is a playful soul, full of energy, making her the perfect addition to homes offering plenty of entertainment and outdoor access to keep her occupied throughout the day.

Her ideal environment would be an adult-only household, where she can reign as the sole pet, ensuring she gets all the attention she desires.

To those potential homes that can understand and cater to her needs, Orla is ready and waiting.

Sarah, another feline resident of the Cats Protection Centre, is also on the lookout for her new home.

Sarah's journey to the centre unfortunately began due to the passing of her previous owner, leaving her with nowhere else to go.

Upon arrival, she required some dental attention, which resulted in the removal of all her teeth.

Consequently, Sarah is now on a wet-only diet – something she has taken a liking to and consistently finishes.

However, due to the circumstances, the staff at the centre have limited knowledge of Sarah's personality or behaviour.

Sarah is a reserved old girl who is hoping for a quiet home where she can come out of her shell and enjoy her senior years in peace.

As part of the adoption process, if you show interest in either of the cats and are deemed a suitable match, the Cats Protection Centre will get in touch to discuss the cat's history, medical status, and suitability for you and your household.

A home visit, either virtual or in-person, will be needed as part of this process.

Once successful, adopters will receive the necessary adoption paperwork to fill out.

The adoption process is carried out with marked support from the centre, who also hold follow-ups in the days and weeks post-adoption to ensure the cat is adjusting well to their new home.
