Fans of Animal Crossing can set off on a real-life adventure with a new interactive experience.

SEA LIFE Loch Lomond has partnered with Nintendo to bring Animal Crossing: New Horizons to life in a special event running from May 9 to 31, inviting visitors to explore a world where marine creatures meet beloved video game characters.

The collaboration brings an immersive journey to the aquarium, blending the charm of the Nintendo Switch game with the wonders of marine life.

Kathryn Adam, general manager at SEA LIFE Loch Lomond Aquarium, said: "We are thrilled to be offering this one-of-a-kind experience at SEA LIFE Loch Lomond again in 2026.

"Our guests will be taken on a journey alongside characters from Animal Crossing, all whilst surrounded by the thousands of amazing creatures that we have in our attractions, from Green Sea Turtles to Zebra Sharks in this enriching, fun and unique adventure with family or friends."

A guided tour will take guests through 'Sea Life Islands', introducing them to fan favourites like Tom Nook, Aurora, and Octavian.

Fans can take part in a fossil dig, hunt for Gulliver on the shore, and learn about the ancestors of today’s marine creatures.

Visitors will also have the chance to collect stamps, discover fun facts about aquarium residents, and meet with Tom Nook and Isabelle.

The experience follows the success of last year’s event and marks a renewed partnership between SEA LIFE UK, owned by Merlin Entertainments, and Nintendo.

It is designed to appeal to families, friends, and Animal Crossing enthusiasts of all ages.
