Scotland is just one win away from qualifying for the Super 12s in the T20 men's cricket World Cup, with a match against Oman lined up for Thursday.

The win against Papua New Guinea on Tuesday evening inched the team closer to reaching the next stage of the tournament.

Now, a victory against Oman will mean Scotland progress to the Super 12s, where 12 teams will play thirty matches for a spot in the final four.

If Scotland win tomorrow's match, they will top the Group B table and enter Group 2 of the Super 12s with Afghanistan, India, New Zealand and Pakistan.

However, it is currently very close between Scotland, Oman and Bangladesh who are fighting it out for the top two spots.

It means there is pressure on Scotland to perform in tomorrow's match to avoid disappointment.
