The festival welcomed teams from Aitkenbar, Knoxland, St. Martin’s and St. Michael’s primary schools and Yvonne Macdonald, Active Schools Coordinator, said: “All of the teams played some great netball and were very motivated and enthusiastic.
“Netball continues to be a very popular sport in the local primary schools, with 12 schools from the Dumbarton and Vale of Leven areas participating in our Active Schools Festivals this term.
“With the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games fast approaching we are keen to engage even more children and will be running a series of netball qualifier festivals and a West Dunbartonshire netball final involving the top two schools from the Clydebank, Dumbarton and Vale of Leven areas.”
