After signing up the majority of last season’s pool of players, Hamill invited the trialists along to see how they fared alongside the currect Vale players.
Hamill explained: “We have a few players lined up and it is good to get them in to have a look at them before we sign anyone.
“There’s a mix of young local lads and experienced boys coming in and it will be good to add a couple of faces to the squad.” However, one player who was not at training was Harry McLaughlin who has left the club to re-join his former manager John Brogan, who has taken over at Lowland League outfit Broomhill.
