Some Special awards were also presented. This year a new award was introduced, Spirit of Rugby, in memory of Rab Cochrane. This was awarded to Jock Munn for his commitment to training and games, as well as his super team spirit and his positive cheerful attitude on and off the field.

Signed Glasgow Warriors balls, kindly donated by Cameron House, were presented to Patrick Ayton for his second year of volunteering work with the minis for his Duke of Edinburgh award, and Callum Crumley who trains and plays every week and works hard in the team, always improving his skills and being a valuable team member.

The minis and juniors then presented a cheque for £600 to Iain Norrie, son of the club captain who has Kabuki Syndrome. Wee Iain has spent many months in hospital and has undergone many operations. Iain will continue to require special care, and the players raised money to help support him and his family.

Over the summer training will continue on Mondays for minis from 6-7pm at the club. Juniors will train from 6.30-8.30pm on Wednesdays, also at the club.
