Vale of Leven 2005s are still searching for their first win in PJDYFL Division One after falling to a heavy 5-1 defeat against Cambuslang at the weekend.

Following their promotion from the second division, the Vale youngsters have found life in the top league tough with three losses from three to start their campaign.

Looking to get back on track, Vale started strongly against the Lang and put together some nice passages of play with Jack McEwan impressive down the left.

Vale broke the deadlock 35 minutes in thanks to a well-taken Jack Hewins effort before Cambuslang levelled just one minute before the break.

With it all to play for in the second-half, Cambuslang began to dominate, netting two goals in quick succession from two needless mistakes.

The fourth and a fifth arrived late on to rub salt in the wounds with Vale now looking forward to their next league outing this weekend away to Hillwood FC.
