RANGERS are holding firm in their valuation of Colombia internationalist Alfredo Morelos after reportedly knocking back a fourth approach from French side Lille.

The Ligue 1 outfit have made a series of bids for the striker in recent weeks, culminating in an offer of £16.25m for the 24-year-old forward according to the Daily Mail.

However, the Ibrox side are apparently holding out for a fee of around £20m for their prized asset - and have yet to reach an agreement with Lille, say the Mail.

There has been rampant speculation over Morelos' future in recent weeks, with some reports suggesting that the forward has already agreed personal terms with Lille and that the club are his preferred destination.

The latest additions of Kemar Roofe from Anderlecht and St Gallen's Cedric Itten would suggest that Morelos is edging closer to the exit door at Ibrox after three prolific campaigns in Scotland.

Christophe Galtier's side remain in negotiations with Gent over a move for Canadian striker Jonathan David, who is expected to cost around £27m.
